The House of Gatsby Garb

There are clothes you buy. And clothes you keep for thirty years.

Why We Began

Somewhere along the way, dressing well stopped being the standard. The tailored line gave way to the shapeless. Harmony gave way to whatever was easiest. A generation forgot that how a man dresses is not vanity — it is respect, for himself and for the room he walks into.

Gatsby Garb was founded to bring that back. Not as nostalgia, but as a quiet correction. We build menswear for the man who wants to dress the way men dressed in the decades when it still meant something — deliberately, with proportion, with intention.

The Conviction

We believe the best-dressed man in any room is rarely the one trying hardest. The name carries its own mythology, and we borrowed it deliberately — not for the parties, but for the standard behind them. The idea that what you wear is an extension of how you move through the world. Unhurried. Considered. Already arrived.

Who This Is For

Our customer is not chasing a look. He has arrived at one.

He buys less, but buys well. He values cloth over logo, construction over trend, and restraint over spectacle. He has worn the same coat for six years and has no intention of replacing it. He does not need to be noticed — and is noticed everywhere he goes.

If that sounds like you, you are already home.

Our Standard

Every piece in the Gatsby Garb collection is selected for three things: the quality of its construction, the weight and origin of its fabric, and its capacity to improve with age.

We do not chase seasons. We do not discount to clear inventory. We do not make pieces that require an explanation.

What we offer is simple — and increasingly rare: clothes worth keeping.

"Elegance is refusal."

We have built an entire house around that idea.
